So here is a little something for this weeks prompt ‘Frost’, on the Community Storyboard. Why not head over there and have a go yourself.
In the summer,
When the sun shone.
We both knew, that
Our hearts had been won.
In the autumn
When the frost came.
We already knew,
We both felt the same.
In the winter,
When the snows fell.
A moment apart,
Was like living in hell.
In the spring,
Along comes new life.
By then you will be,
My trouble and strife.
Loved it. (trouble and strife eh?)

Thanks John. Trouble and strife, for all of my life. Sounds perfect to me 🙂

Trouble and strife indeed, then we head apples and pears and celebrate. You made me choke on my coffee.

Don’t choke, my love. I need you. A monumental celebration indeed, cocktail and clam tasting.

Clams and all other various species of things that must be parted. Sadly us eventually as well. But never fear. We shall reunite and conquer the world my darling man.

Conquer the world we shall, my love. Together, always.

Found it. Really? In the sofa cushions?

Umh, don’t remember putting it there. I thought that you may have had it hidden somewhere.

Okay, so maybe I did put it where we found it. I want to put it where it belongs, and have it remain there, always.

I wouldn’t be surprised. The comments are a lot of fun.

I’m not certain how I missed the Community Storyboard poems in this collection. This is a sweet one.
