Another short poem dedicated to the love of my life, Ionia Martin. The woman that makes me who I am, without whom I am not me. (Not sure if who and whom are right, but what the heck.)
I miss you from thousands of miles away,
Or even just a few.
You guide my life in every way,
I am not me without you
I visit all those places,
The ones for me and you.
Like where you first spoke to me,
And life began anew
Little could I have known then,
What you’d come to mean to me.
Our love it has flourished,
O’er the deep blue sea.
You are to me, my everything.
My world, my heart, my life.
The greatest day of all will come
When you become my wife.
This is lovely – keep writing

Thank you, Pam. I will always write of my love for Ionia, so I shall always keep writing, whether publicly or privately 🙂
I love her, forever and always, as my poetry, so often my says.

I know. Sometimes you just know that you are a match made in heaven, even if you do not believe in heaven per se.

I am sorry, my darling. I love you with all my heart, and always want to show it. Crile! Is that another Julioniasm for the dictionary? I love it.

Nice poem and beautiful sentiment. Who or whom doesn’t really matter as long as you know who is whom in your heart.

Thanks, John. I love the who or whom. I most definitely know who is whom in my heart, as I expect the rest of the world does. I want the world to know of my love, whether they are interested or not.

Beautiful words Julian, the last couple of lines really did it for me. I hope this happens for the two of you sooner rather than later.
