Alone again,
On this desolate isle.
Trapped in a chain,
No desire to smile.
Dreaming of then,
When together we were.
Dreaming of then,
When together we’ll be.
Thoughts of us,
Lift my heart.
Thoughts of us,
Never apart.
Days will pass,
Night times too.
No need to ask,
I’ll come back to you.
Time it does drag,
Until that day.
I’ll change my flag,
When we find a way.
I love you, Ionia.
You make me tear up

Wish I could have seen you two on your Bonnie and Clyde tour of the US

Me too, John. I think we would have had a blast. I am sure we will get to meet up in the future.

OMG! Yes! It’s been two months. It sounded like – from a couple of blogs – that you visited around. Braved the snow and all that. I’ll keep you both in my thoughts.
Such a sad poem, Julian.

It has been two months. They have just shot by, although I know that when Ionia and I are apart this same time will be interminable. We did take a bit of a road trip, yes. And there certainly was snow, although we missed the worst of it, I think.

Beautiful Julian, I’m sorry you both have to endure this rollercoaster ride. I truly hope that it ends soon. My thoughts are with you both my friend.
