I remember a dream,
I once had,
A dream of perfection,
Of a woman I would meet.
A Maid that would,
Complete my soul,
Driving away,
Those feelings so grey.
Someone that just got me,
As I did them
A woman with whom,
To write the perfect story.
The dream was buried,
For many a long year,
Until you came along,
And allayed all fear.
I yearned for a connection,
Solid and true,
A union I found
Only when I met you.
We met with words,
Across a vast wasteland,
A delay before we met,
And I asked for your hand.
I’d found my soul mate,
Now I knew what that meant,
The other half of me,
You were heaven sent.
