A Thank You

I would just like to extend my thanks once again to everyone that took part in last weeks ‘A Poetic Proposal’ Blog Tour. Your help was much appreciated. A reminder to everyone who the fantastic bloggers that took part were:

Charles E Yallowitz – Legends of Windemere

Pamela Beckford – Poetry by Pamela

Teri Polen – Books and Such

Randall C Willis – CreatedbyRCW

Dominc DiFrancesco – Black and Write

Marie Ann Bailey – 1WriteWay

John Howell – Fiction Favorites

Once again, thank you all so very much. If you haven’t visited these blogs yet then I strongly recommend that you do so.

And so, after the excitement of last weeks blog tour I find myself in somewhat of a blogging quandary. What do I write about now?

Final Day of the Poetic Proposal Blog Tour.

Today’s expression of heartfelt gratitude for hosting the grand finale of the ‘A Poetic Proposal’ blog tour goes out to John Howell.

What can I say about this man. I absolutely love his sense of humour and writing style. He has been ever present in his support, both personally, and with regard to my poetry.

John’s blog is known as ‘Fiction Favorites’ (nearly gave it a UK spelling there, sorry John. I think we’re good now). In addition to posts about his novel writing his blog includes regular weekly features such as ‘Wednesday Story day – Hump Day’, Friday’s ‘TGIF Johnku’, and ‘Stream of Consciousness Saturday’. He is the author of a fiction thriller MyGRL. Check it out, along with news of his other ‘Published Work’.

John has been the ‘Spotlight Author’ of the week this last week for the #RaveReviewsBookClub (#RRBC), during which his many interesting posts, including ‘Question and Answers’ and ‘Interviews’ have appeared all over the blogosphere. See his introductory post here.

Fiction Favorites‘ is definitely one of my favourites, and that’s not fiction. It is not a site you want to miss. Get over there now!

Thank you again for hosting the grand finale of the ‘Poetic Proposal’ blog tour today, John, for your constant support, and especially for your awesome sense of humour.

Day 6 of the Poetic Proposal Blog Tour.

Today is the penultimate day of the ‘A Poetic Proposal’ blog tour, and it is my pleasure to give thanks to Marie Ann Bailey for hosting today’s stop.

Marie’s blog is called ‘1WriteWay’ and is a treasure chest of all things book and writing related. She is a self-confessed writer, knitter, and stray cat magnet. Her ‘About 1WriteWay’ page is an example to all of us that either leave the default page, or do the bare minimum. Check it out.

Amongst her other posts and reviews Marie has recently been including chapters from her novel in progress ‘Clemency’. This was a really interesting series of posts made as she worked on the novel for NaNoWriMo, posting the entire novel, although in her own words, with a lot of stuff left out. See the Prologue here.

You should visit Marie’s blog here and say hi.

Thank you so much, Marie, for featuring the ‘Poetic Proposal’ blog tour today, and for your support.

Day 5 of the Poetic Proposal Blog Tour.

So just after the half-way mark and we’re into the home stretch. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Dominic DiFrancesco for hosting the ‘A Poetic Proposal’ blog tour today.

Dominic is the man responsible for the blog ‘Black and Write – The Poetic Musings of Dom DiFrancesco’. It is here that he shares with the world his own particular brand of highly emotional and evocative poetry, exploring a multitude of different poetic forms along the way. Dom posts a lot of exceptional poetry, on many, varied topics, his passion for poetry clearly evident.

I suggest that you go visit his blog directly, to see for yourself the outstanding poetry that he posts.

Thank you for your support, Dom, and for featuring the ‘Poetic Proposal’ blog tour today. Your continual encouragement has been instrumental in the development of my own poetry.

Day 4 of the Poetic Proposal Blog Tour.

So here we are at the mid-point of the ‘A Poetic Proposal’ blog tour, and today my sincere thanks go out to Randall C Willis for taking part and hosting .

Randy describes himself on his ‘Who is this guy?’ page as a writer, a photographer, a creator, and a distiller. I think we can add that he is a really fun, interesting, all round good guy to this list. He was also one of the first people that followed my blog, back in the day of its rebirth, and has been a valued friend ever since.

CREATEDBYRCW’ is the name of Randy’s blog and it is chock full of interesting posts about his writing, life, hockey, and some very cool photographs when he indulges his passion for photography. He has a great sense of humour which is apparent from his posts, and his extensive commenting. It is always great fun to respond to his posts and comments.

So, if you haven’t been to Randy’s blog before you should seriously do so, and if you have, then you know what I am talking about.

Thank you again, Randy, for being there and for featuring the ‘Poetic Proposal’ blog tour today, and for your continued support.

Day 3 of the Poetic Proposal Blog Tour.

Today I would like to thank Teri Polen for taking part in the ‘A Poetic Proposal’ blog tour and doing me the honour of hosting today.

Teri maintains an awesome book related blog – the hint is in the title – called ‘Books and Such’. She posts numerous reviews, cover reveals, book releases, blog tours amongst myriad other book related topics.

I suggest that you go check out the wealth of information available at Teri’s blog, stopping at the ‘About Me’ page to find out a little more about its creator.

Please do take the time to visit Teri’s blog. At once! I shall see you there.

Thank you again Teri for taking the time to feature the ‘A Poetic Proposal’ blog tour today, and for your support.

Day 2 of the Poetic Proposal Blog Tour.

So, after yesterday’s flying start, next up on the vaunted ‘A Poetic Proposal’ blog tour is Pamela Beckford

As is only correct and proper, and just plain good manners, I would like to express my thanks and appreciation to Pamela for taking part. She has always been incredibly supportive and encouraging about my writing and also on a personal level, for which I am eternally grateful.

Pamela is a poet, and a very good one. In fact she is one of my favourites. Pamela has released a number of poetry collections, both alone, and in collaboration. I particularly like ‘Dreams of Love’. Check out this and her other published works here.

Pamela’s blog can be found at Poetry by Pamela. This is a great place to experience her beautiful works of poetry, and also to see everything else that she does to help promote others.

You should all visit her blog post haste!

Thank you again Pamela for taking part today and for your constant support.

Day 1 of the Poetic Proposal Blog Tour

So, today is the first day of the blog tour for ‘A Poetic Proposal’.

First up is Charles Yallowitz, to whom I would like to extend my thanks and appreciation for taking part and kicking the tour off for us.

Charles is the author of the incredible fantasy series, ‘Legends of Windemere’. In fact the next instalment in this epic, ‘Curse of the Dark Wind’ is debuting on December 12th. Look out for it all over the blogosphere, and beyond.

Charles also maintains a fantastic blog with the same name, ‘Legends of Windemere’. Charles’ blog features an incredible quantity of interesting and useful posts. He is unstinting in his support of his fellow authors, posting all manner of promotional and informative items.

I suggest you go visit it immediately. Like now!

Thank you, Charles for your continued support and aid.

A Poetic Proposal Blog Tour Starts Tomorrow

So, following my post yesterday regarding the reasons ‘Why We Write Poetry’ – thanks to everyone that commented, there were some extremely insightful and interesting comments well worth checking out – I am back to the shameless plugging of my poetry collection.

As part of the release of ‘A Poetic Proposal’ there will be a short blog tour this week, taking in a few hops around some of the best blogs about. I do not want to say much now, but keep an eye out for the posts.

I would just like to give thanks in advance to everyone that volunteered to help with this. Your help is greatly appreciated.

The book is available here and comes in both digital and paperback format.
