About

Julian Froment

I am a forty five year old male. I split my time almost equally between the UK, where I am sadly resident, and the US where the love of my life resides.

I attended the University of Kent from 1989-1992, where I obtained a BSc Hons in Physics.

I have completed a number of courses with the Open University (music, maths, and business studies) in my spare time to try to keep my aged brain working.

I am self-employed and consider almost anything fair game. I write a little, especially poetry, am a founding partner in Antux Linux support, write software, and am exploring practical electronics and robotics.

I mostly enjoy reading, writing, computers, and electronics. I also collect books and have a (very) small collection of first editions, mostly Enid Blyton’s children’s adventure stories and some ‘Beat Generation’ literature.

Mary and I thank you for liking our recent post “Don’t you do it”. I (Timothy) read a few of your posts and like what I see. Keep up the good work and we hope you hit all your goals this year and beyond. BTR

  3. So glad you found me, so I could visit you! I swear, I hear your pain, as I read and write so much, I find myself cringing at the amount of time I can squeeze some work in…
    🙂
    Look forward to your posts!

    • Sorry Terri probably not on this occasion as I am quite busy at the moment. I will certainly have a look at your contests in the future though. Good luck with it, I hope you get plenty of entries, and you never know I may find time, but I wouldn’t want to do half a job. I look forward to seeing the winner though.

  4. Julian ~ I’ve just read about Ionia’s illness from a few days ago. I’ve messaged her but also want you to know I’m thinking of you and sending hopeful thoughts your way…
